Great Are the Works of the Lord!

One of the grand errors of education is in studying the creature before the Creator. Our studies of phonics and physics, writing and grammar, and literature and algebra, will only be understood as we apply ourselves to theology – or the study of God. Therefore, at Immanuel Christian School, as we seek to study all subjects, we show our students God.

I have been amazed in reading about King Solomon's wisdom pertaining to architecture, culinary arts, textiles, governmental procedures, and societal relationships. His wisdom extended to all areas of life and sprang from his understanding of who God is (1 Kings 10:1-5).

Our students, too, will have true wisdom about the world they are studying as they understand it from a worldview that incorporates submission to our God who made all. We are conscientiously working on that worldview here day by day. Pray for your children's teachers for increasing wisdom and revelation of knowing Christ better as they teach truth in a fallen world.

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better."

- Ephesians 1:17
